Book marks

I like that I can create a bookmark for my favortie sites. I have actually done this before. My favortie bookmark is Facebook.com. I liked the website we looked at. I would use it! It seems like it can help keep things organized, especially if you have a lot of sites you visit on a daily basis.

Using a Spread Sheet

After using microsoft excel this week I think I would def. use it for my classroom one day. It was very simple to use. I like that it helps keep everything organized and neat. It is easy for students to follow also. I like that you can create so many things through Excel. If I wanted to organize my Curriculum i can do that, or if I wanted to make a review for my students I can do that too. It will be very helpful to me in the future.

Inspiration

I found that by using Inspiration in the classroom, students can have a visual learning aid that will help them with many different aspects in school. I liked Inspiration and how it incorporated many techniques into the learning community. My favorite part was that teachers can go to the students Inspiration page and change what needs to be changed according to the lesson plan and/or add notes that will further help the student. I would use Inspiration in my classroom by getting the students to use it before a test as a study guide or for a research project of some kind.

I think the best type of writing activities that would need the use of technology would be something like a research paper. As a soon to be English teacher I would want my students to research an author or explicate a poem. I could get the students to be active in something like E college where they have to discuss things with other students while not in the classroom. They would be allowed to ask questions to each other and help each other as needed.

What do i think

I believe that blogging is a very good and productive way for students to learn. It's a useful tool for the classroom and at home. I like that you can talk to fellow students and you teacher when ever. It is good for those students who are shy also. They don't have to be scared because you really don't have to "talk" to a person.
With today's technology, students will probably like and enjoy this more than a regular classroom learning experience. They can benifit from blogging while having fun!
